Fascism didn't start with Donald Trump

To give a definition of the word fascism is never easy. That is because it is difficult to exactly draw a line. Many people have tried to give a definition of fascism. Some came up with a number of stages that a society has to go through to be called fascistic at reaching the last phase. We all agree that Hitler's Germany and Mussolini's Italy were fascistic. One thing we agree on is that a fascistic society is a police and a military state, that freedom of speech, freedom of press and freedom of association does not exist, that minorities are repressed and even tortured or killed in the end.

Many dictatorships are also fascistic. But we tend to use the word fascism only when a democratic country turns into such a state. How does such a society become a reality? One of the problems lies in democracy itself. People are not pro human rights, like freedom of speech and freedom of association for instance. They like to see authorities that forbids organizations with views they dislike very much. So when you see democracy as the majority decides everything, then fascism is just around the corner. We need judges that protect basic human rights. If judges fail in this, then we have a problem. They always fail to some extend though. In repressive times they fail more and more. Just to be not unpopular, but they will be because one thing is for sure: you can never satisfy fascists.

Another problem a democratic society faces are politicians. When the majority of, maybe bad informed or intolerant people that need a scapegoat, want bad laws, then politicians fill this gap. They make bad laws and try to overthrow the independence of the justice system more and more.

And let us not forget the mass media. They also tend to give the majority of the people what they want. In doing so they distort the truth. They exaggerate figures of crime and they live of fear and sensationalist news. All mass media do so, some more than others.

When all noses are in the same direction of more intolerance and repression, then a society has a problem. The so called left and the so called right have their noses for decades in the same direction, when it comes to sex laws concerning children and adolescents.

In the United States, they lock up children of immigrants. 'Illegal' people are caught and locked up. Their children are separated from them. The children are placed in huge cages and when they cry no one is allowed to hold them. “Fascism!,” people are calling this. Yes, but did it start just now? No. When a child is doing something sexual to another child, just normal sex play is enough, then we place that child in an institution. Far away from the parents. We indoctrinate this child that he or she is a very bad person. We destroy every spontaneity in this child. This is the norm for many years in the United States and almost no one ever complained about this. The mass media - owed by big companies - do not care. When we look at the prisoners in the United States, how they are treated, then we only can use the word fascism. We just don't care. Lock them up, for many years, even life in prison, in a tiny cell, just to rot. Day in day out.

Fascism did not start with Donald Trump. Because of the pedophilia hysteria, all good people are no longer in the front lines: they are not in the Senate, not in the House of Representatives, they are not journalist for the major news companies. They are not holding the buttons. Bad and ignorant people are. How to change all this: just get rid of all the taboos and start with the biggest one: child sexuality and pedophilia. It's the only way.
