America's Got Talent star Glennis Grace wants me dead

Dutch well known singer Glennis Grace tweeted on the third of July 2012: "pedoscum, finish them off" (in dutch: #pedotuig #afmaken) [1]. Her tweet is still on-line on her twitter account. Glennis Grace is currently in the US media because she is a candidate in the television show America's Got Talent. Glennis tweeted the kill pedo's text to Henk Bres when my association - I was a board member - was in the news. Henk Bres is a former football hooligan, who several times has made clear he wants to see me dead. Bres became popular on television as an ex-criminal, sharing opinions many ordinary people have but 'aren't allowed' to say on television. In his autobiography he admitted that, years ago, he went to the park in his hometown The Hague for gay bashing. Beating up gay people. Henk Bres is now a member of the PVV party led by Geert Wilders. The PVV wanted to see the Martijn association forbidden and fascism is contagious as it turned out.

I never dehumanized someone I did not agree with. It is very dangerous to say you want to see people dead or even worse to encourage people to kill others. You also most never compare people with animals. "Pedophiles are animals," is a terrible thing to say. The mass media often calls pedophiles predators or monsters. Nazi-Germany compared the Jews with rats in their propaganda films. What do you do with rats, with monsters?: you kill them. Another term you will see is that pedosexuals are referred to as degenerates. A thing they used to say about homosexuals.

Two other things people should avoid using. The first one is the use of the word 'survivor'. You can survive a shooting or a war. But why use it when you are talking about a sexual act between a grown up and a minor. Was there a life in danger? No. It is just to exaggerate things: to feed the taboo on child sexuality and pedosexuality. And to indirect create suffering in victims who maybe were only victims because of our sex negative society in the first place. The second thing I want to point out is so called researchers that say this person has pedophilia. As if it is a disease, that can be cured. Homosexuality was 'officially' a disease in the DSM and pedophilia still is, but that is only politics and no science at all. And no humanity at all.

So don't wish people dead, don't dehumanize them, and use the proper neutral terms when doing science.
